Great progress with the painting, I also heard Mike worked in a hospital and I think he was into re-enactment, but that was many years ago. Last saw him walking around Euro dressed as a GI! All the best Mike wherever you are.

I can definitely see the attraction of this figure Paul, wouldnt think it was 80`s figure looking at it.
Great job on the painting i really like the sabretache detailing.

and thanks' for you comments your all very kind.
Having bit of double thumb day with the sord and sabretache slings, glued them on but not best pleased need bit of a tidy up,and then I'll post some pic's soon.

Hi All,
the next stage,as I said it need's a tidy with a little filler and paint then on to the next bit.
I was hopping to find some one that sells leaf's in this scale (90mm),I know they do a range in1/35 scale...?
Its slow prog i know,hope its worth the wait.

Hi Paul, really nice work on this, I really like the trouser colour, makes a nice change from the usual British, Blue or Grey.

I think I'm more or less there,just the odd correction to do,but,
At this point he puts a smile on my face,for it was a long time in coming 20 somthing years,getting the figure not a smile I mean!

Carl,I was going to buy some,then had a moment of madness,a mass of very dry leaf's had blown under my garage door,gathered round my bike's front wheel,so in that moment of madness I grabbed a few and in to my freshly cleaned coffee grinder and pulsed them down to in scale leaf size?
Glued on with pva,happy days "Blue Peter" has a lot to answer for!

It may have taken 20 years but well worth the wait, great job Paul on this classic. Thanks for posting the WIP's I've already downloaded the pics, if I can get to within 50% of that work I'll be pleased. Well done mate look forward to seeing it in the flesh.
