Hi Sir,
thank you for your reply,yes i was home when we had the earthquake,I thought my apt would fall down,did you feel it?Please keep up all your great work i always enjoy seing your post and pieces,I love the ground work you create for each piece.Do you mostly work in 120mm?I work mostly 1/35 or 54mm,I hope someday to try a bigger piece when i get more experince,Look forward to the completion of your new piece,thank you for posting.................Joseph

Your sentences about an earthquake aren't understood, so (I understand almost no English.) I apologize for the thing which couldn't be understood.

Anyway I just wish for health of you, your family and an acquaintance.
YES, I prefer a big figure. However the reason that I make 120mm figure of a VERLINDEN is because the prices are low.

When I like the figure, I'm the type the scale doesn't esteem.
It's proud of me that you liked my work very much.

I'd like also to continue posting now, Joseph.

I have begun to paint completion.

I have begun to paint completion.

I have completed a coat first.
I used oil paints about this part.
I made and branded the color on the palette.
That was painted by a brush.
I blew MATT-VERNISH VALLEJYO - COLOR and put out gloss from later.
It may be better to put out gloss a little more.

It'll be expected to complete a face tomorrow.

Hi Mitsutaka,

You've got the field grey just right. What was your oil mix approximately?
I agree about the mat finish; it needs one more coat maybe.
I must say I'm not impressed by Vallejo's mat varnish. It tends to lose it mat-ness over time is my impression.
Anyway, I look forward to your progress.

Thank you very much for your kind advice and question.
I'm thinking I should remove gloss of a figure, too.
A flat base of TAMIYA may be mixed and blown.
I make the white、 black mainly, and I have added olive green and low umber there only a little.
The darkest color was black, and I added white to the color of the basis gradually.
I have finished facial painting today.

I painted facial completion

I painted facial completion today.

I drew an eye first.
Next I made the same flesh color as blown time and painted that by a brush.
Next I drew a facial shade.
If those ended, I made these brand.
Remaining work is straightening work by a loupe.
I drew an eyebrow in the end and blew MATT - VERNISH.
about a face.
I used oil paints partially.

Final stage of painting of completion.

Hello, everyone.

I have begun a final stage of painting of completion.
I have completed a belt first.
I applied flat black of TAMIYA enamel by a brush first.
(Even if I make them stick out of paint, I can remove it by a paint thinner.) a dry brush made burnt Jenna of oil paints me after that.
I just left gloss of oil paints about a part.
Next a button was painted by silver.
I used the metal color of KUREOS　silver for this part.
I glued both hands together after that.
I blew MATT which mixed a flat base- VERNISH at the end to put out gloss of a uniform.
(It was difficult how much flat base to put in.

) Both hands and an attachment have not been completed yet.
It'll be expected to do tomorrow about this part.

Mitsutaka, it's coming together and great work so far. Will you be adding snow to the rubble on the base .

Wonderful work, you are so clean with your painting which is a skill in itself.

Good idea to add a hint of snow, it would add that feeling of cold this figure desrves.

This figure is setting as a winter morning in Stalingrad.
So I'll make the ground work snow.
I'm thinking accessories in a background shall also make them rust.
