I started this figure about 2 years ago and kept putting him aside, picking him up again and doing some more work on him and then putting him aside. It got so bad I lost the left arm and shield and after going through my studio over and over had to order another kit to replace the parts. That hurt, as I have never lost parts before. But finally this morning I did the small amount of grass to the groundwork and declared him finished. Part of the reason I took 2 years to finish him was the necklace. Not an easy item to paint and have it look right.

Great work and well done on the finish, er -- did you quickly make an extra casting of the new arm for the other new kit ?;)

Thanks for the kind words guys.

Rob ~ I will eventually find the missing shield and arm and then complete the extra kit I now have.

Great masterpiece Guy.
Indeed the combination of the figure and the ground work is wonderful.
I felt the atmosphere such as the man who loves nature.
I congratulate completion.

Mitsutaka.

Guy, That is one mean looking Blackfoot warrior. Like the way you staged it! Overall results I would say, Excellent! I really like it. Reminds me of a Frank McCarthy illustration.

Happy Trails, Terry Martin

I kept looking for things wrong with it an came up empty....
Beautiful work!

Thanks guys for the comments and feedback.

John - I guess we are our own worst critics......I see lots of mistakes since I placed it in the showcase.
