This is my 1st attempt at any model/ figure larger than 54mm 1:35 scale, no less being resin and converting/ backdating (time) to represent a Light Fighter soldier from the 7th Infantry Division (Light) during Operation Just Cause. I'm doing this for 2 reasons, first is that there is no figure in any scale that represents the 7th and the second is to honor my fellow Light Fighters from that division. One that I would serve in for nearly 10 years.
The 1st image is the original bust and a digital image workup of my attempt.
The second image is of the head and helmet. The Helmet is covered with a trade mark for the division. WE called it the Ragtop. It was created by taking cut strips of old BDUs and weaving it into the Kevlar Cover. For the I took fabric liner material and painted with ceramic arcylics in a similar fashion of the 4 color Woodland pattern. Cut it into small thin strips and individually glued each strip to the helmet.
The third image is another trademark of the division, a 7th Infantry Division patch with a bayonet behind it.
While the fourth image is the planned base.
Any comments, suggestions, etc is more then welcome.
