Hello everyone:

I just start painting this 120mm panzer crew from Alpine.

This is the first time I use Acrylic colour to paint face and I love it!

I would like to give a special thanks to Mr Kevin Peart, who gave me a great tutorial and demonstration of face painting at the BMSS Bristol's show in Bath a few weeks ago.

I hope you like it. Any comments welcome.:)

I think you have a very expressive style.
Looking great so far.

Hi Gordy, thanks a lot for your comment, Gavin's demonstration was very instructive;)

Hi Mark, thank you for your kind comment!:)

Hi Carl, thanks a lot for your comment, yes, this is my third figure already:)

Hi Taesung, thanks a lot for your kind comment! ;)

For a first go at acrylics that's really nice (y)

It might be partly the photos but I would tone down the contrast a little, the shadows on the side planes are very dark for the scale.

Very nice start Yi. You have a good teacher in Kevin. He is an excellent painter and a good friend.

Hi Einion & Marc, thank you very much for your advises! very helpful!!:) I will try to bring down the contrast on the cheeks.

Hi John, thanks for your kind comment. ;)

Hi guys:

I finished the head painting work and bought down the contrast on the upper parts of cheeks, but Im afraid the contrast on its left cheek is still quite obvious......plus I turn on the flash light on the camera this time, I think the photos looks a bit better than the previous ones;)

That looks really good, many people who have been painting in acrylics for years would be happy with that face (y)

What a great job that face paint.
For the eagle and the skull does not stand out so much, I usually paint in black paint and then Mr Metal Color 211 Chrome Silver Metal apply it as dry brush. I like the left.
Regards

Hi Carl, thanks a lot for comment and the pictures, I will change them to white and I have to admit I didn't do a good homework. ;)

Hi Einion, thanks for your comment and encouragement, that really means a lot to me.:)

Hi Rocio, thanks for sharing experience and nice comment, I will try to make them more stand out.:)
