Just started another fine little figure. I got it from Carl (Housecarl). The scale is 120 mm and the figure is from "Pete Barnacle Studios". Never heard before from him but that is a very fine sculpt.

I started with the cradle, not finished but I think you can get the first impression. The first picture is the model for the cradle painting

Thanks. Attached a photo from the woman and the model for painting her dress. The dress is pronounced as a cheyenne dress and the cradle as a dakota/lakota cradle. I am not an expert but I hope that I could paint the figure so.

If there are problems please let me know

The cheyenne and souxi were very close, almost like first cousins so your OK there , but if you had done pawnee or blackfoot you would be in real trouble . I like what you have done so far . I look out for more

Thanks Guys. Will try to do my best

Chippy: Thanks for that information. I haven´t found a Lakota dress for that kind of robe she is wearing. Have you a model for painting her as a Lakota?

Looks very realistic and true to life; lazy stitch pony beaded cradle board. Super job.

John, Phil and Guy. Thanks a lot for your compliments. I will do my best

Chippy. Thanks for the photos. I will see what I can do.

Long time ago that I have started to paint "Bird Woman", but here some new photos.

Tomorrow I will let grow grass and flowers on the base, some corrections at the figure and I promise I will make some better picture then

Hope you like it and comments are welcome

Very nice, I love the beading on the baby cradle. Maybe a tad more shading on her clothing might give it a bit more "punch", but thats only my opinion.
