Here are a few more...still lots to do but I'm pretty happy so far.
I would like to add a special thanks to Sergey Popovichenko for his awesome inspiration; if it wasn't for his stunning work I wouldn't have had the courage to try this piece.
And all of your for being my 'cheering section'!;)

Mary,i am just admiring your work and amazed at your great painting technique.
The blood effect on the gladius is incredible .
:)

Excellent work Mary, you've come a long way in a short period of time. My only suggestion would be to apply some selected highlights on the metals and leather to add a bit more contrast.

Hi Mary ,
My goodness you are becoming a talented painter and learning so fast , few more highlights on the metallics and the leather would also be my suggestion .

Cue the cheerleaders ..." Go Mary..Go Mary ...Go Go Go "(y)

I wasn't quite sure how to highlight the metals without overdoing it and getting a 'garish' effect; 'how to's' are welcome.
And if I'm getting better faster, it's because I rely completely on PF and the inspiration here. I don't have any other modellers or shows in my area so have never seen other people's work in real life. Thanks so much for all your support.
