makes a big difference , but there will still be tears every now and then keep at them.

Cheers Ken, I'll need to finish off the Leuthen set in acrylics just to keep up the general appearance but I think I'm an oil convert.

Good work using oils, nice portrait. I like the colors, your pussian blue, the crimson tone of lapels and cuffs, and I specially like how you´ve painted the silver laces and sash.
It´s very fine I think.
I miss the bigger photos you uploaded in past posts.

Look on the bright side Roger you may get a chance to get the pastels out again.............
You could even do a Turner and tie yourself to the mast and paint 'A Storm at Sea'. What fun
