When I first saw the original head unpainted I wasn't keen on it. Turns out it's actually very good.
However I did start the alternative head at now he's done.
I got some foil strips and advice from Steve Reedie (Cheers Steve) to try and make the helmet strapping.
Here he is see what you think....I personally think he looks a bit meaner.

nice job mate, to replace a head so seemlessly is difficult so you did really well there, looks much better painted.
take care

Grant, just a suggestion, but you might want to consider putting a lanyard on the P226, you can make it out of coiled fuse wire or better still lead wire if you can get it. Just coil it around a very small drill bit.
Its somehting the sculptor should have done really but you know what they are like..Arfur job.

The tab is actually already there on the figure, its slightly different to the one in the pic as its a velcro fastening.
hope this pic makes sense

Hi Moz,
You have in fact moulded the lanyard which you can just make out below the pistol hand grip and coming from the velcro fastener running down the body armour...... I lost the bloomin wee clasp which connects to the lanyard and was planning to remake one soon.
