I am quite pleased with this young drummer but as with all things there are bits that I would do differently if there would be a next time.

Mate that is taking shape and coming on a treat, I just love the stance and the drummer boy and also like the addition of the sword. That drum is absolutely top draw. Looking forward to seeing this one get painted up.

Good to hear from you Mate.
I have added the snares to the drum and started to lay some paint on it (I had not planed for the bottom to be seen initially). I left them loose for effect. My old bandmaster would go bonkers if he saw them. See what you think?
Also had a first coat (acrylic) on the Shako.
