Saxon 54 mm (Latorre / Toison)

Recently completed this one. A lovely little figure that's nicely cast and needed very little clean-up. The trickiest part was the scabbard, the lower part of which comes as a separate piece and has very little surface area to key it onto the main figure. It caused me all manner of problems but I got there in the end.

Photo's not the best but you get the idea. Thanks for looking.

I appreciate the positive comments chaps. I was quite pleased with this one and for the last 2 or 3 finished figures I've started to feel I'm getting a bit closer to where I want to be as a painter, but of course I hope to still continue improving. The learning curve never ends! Thanks again for looking.

Saw this last week at yours Steve and the black undercoat certainly gives a darker finish and appearance to the figure. Cracking bit of groundwork too.
