I'm painting my last sculpture for Miniaturas Fortes in order to have a new box art.

First af all I glue as much of the figure as I can without troubling the painting.

It is advisable to pay some attention to the fitting of the equipe in the back. I have glued the zeltahn on the gasmask to ease the further glueing.

I have made the MG 34 strap with some paper and a bit of very thin copper wire.

I have modelled a small terrain ona a masked base and, after these steps, have primed the figure with Citadel black primer.

Thanks for looking!
As usual, I have started painting the eyes. I have painted the white with Vallejo's Deck Tan 70986. Later, I have painted a black circle and on it, have painted eith a mix of Prussian Blue with Deck Tan an a touch of black. Finally I have added a twinkle mixing Prussian Blue with more Deck Tan.

Thanks everyone!
I have took some improvised photos, excuse me for the quality.
I have painted the face in acrylics but want to to refining it at a later moment with some oil colours.
After that I have painted the trousers in a soiled white and still am adding some effects of mud and grease, etc.

Superb all round, a great piece and a great paint job.
I can't wait to get one of these
Eager for more :)

Mine arrived today, a superb piece and makes me want to start painting straight away :)
Many thanks

Hello Diego, I like the bulky appearance of the winter parka, and trousers, great drapery on those. Any chance of an assistant gunner, to go along with this MG'er??? Excellent painting Diego, I really like this one. Regards, SG:)(y)(y)

Thanks for the comments! :)
It has many possibilities, as the padded uniform was reversible: All white, all grey, camo, combinations...
