They are that soft plastic which is difficult to work Mark but I will also add foliage on them so they wont be so obvious, cheers mate

Thanks to Steve and Del   :nailbiting: it's no longer a completed WIP but not doing another thread here's the next part I present ANTLER MAN! A toy deer from the Early Learning went under the knife for these after a few aborted sculpting attempts ended in swearing and shouting  I also intend to add more foliage around and framing him. As ever comments good or bad gladly accepted

Steve these work well. Suggest you make sure that they are placed slightly forward on the skull and not centred at each side.
Point the antlers slightly toward the viewer, this gives it a more 'sinister' look than if they just spring from the side of the head.
Great stuff
Cheers

Cheers Del I have placed them in roughly the temple area as you suggested, I tried angling them forward but they unbalanced the set up and as it is a very fragile joint on the owl I saw disaster looming
Steve

Steve, I think its adds a new dimension - especially if you are planning to add foliage. There are some great illustrations on the net, I only know this because I did a 28mm one for Black Pyramid Gaming!!

cheers,

Steve(y)

Thanks guys, Steve not sure how well it'll travel TBH as I mentioned the joint for the owl is very fragile indeed but I might try F.W. with it, SW Artificial silk off Evil bay (y)
Steve

That's worked out very well Steve.
A great atmospheric piece, should look brilliant against a dark wall with some muted light.
Or .......... you could hunt out a pub called the Green Man and flog it to the landlord (y)
