First of all.....let's discuss and analyse the photography ....... clearly there are many problems here .......;)
What a great scene, leaving aside the obvious quality of the painting the way you've created and presented the trees really enhanses the piece and draws the eye to the figures.
I've seen a number of similar presentations where the background is so busy the viewer loses focus on the figures.
Great job (y)
Cheers

Holy Macro, Roger!
This is awesome!
The whole composition is outstanding!
Like the subject too!
Great work Roger! We want more, We want more.... ;)(y)
Cheers,

The undergrowth and tree were done using these.

Woodland Scenics Underbrush light green and PVA glue.

I simply stuck the stuff on. :D The tree trunk and branches were painted with a mix of Burnt Umber and Ultramarine acrylic and then PVA and scenic material was added. Once the PVA was dry some areas needed to have a second application. I didn't worry too much about the tree as the missing bits give a more natural appearance.

Roger.

Roger! ...... are you trying to, 'Tempt and or Influence', me ??? :D

Mark

Mark, I did not get my flat jabs and he infected me, so be careful.;) I'm now wondering if a public health warning should accompany Roger's posts.

Hi Roger,
I'm going to pinch that classic line from you mate......so if anyone feels the need to critique the photo's..... don't!! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: Brilliant:LOL:

Really good to see this one finished, looks great, very nice presentation, are you going to bring it to the club meet on the 11th.(y) It will be great to see these in the flesh as I know they are going to be so much better than what you can view on here.
cheers
Richie
P.S.
Really looking forward to your flat demo.

Richie! .. When Flats are done in 90mm+, then, and only then! would my immune system break down! ( If it hadn't already :() . However, if you tell me that such stuff already exists I will not be a 'Happy-Bunny'. :D.

Cautious,

Mark
