Here's my completed Sassoon. Owen on the way in a day or two. I sculpted the RWF flash behind the collar in Sculpey but its pretty brittle. I will try and toughen it up with sculpey glaze. If not, I will replace with magicsculpt.

Martin - I really like painting my own sculpts....to the extent that my grey army is likely going to stay grey for a long time. And my cost of the hobby is pretty low. A bust this size takes about $10 in sculpey. :)

Here is Owen....just need to add his tie clip and Manchester Regiment collar insignia - quite a complex design. I will post pix of them side by each once that is done.

I like Sassoon better. But each one is a chance to learn and improve.

You're getting better and better Colin. Really nice work.

Great finish on both figs. Your work on the jacket details and the cross belt are first rate.
Look forward to seeing colour on these two gents. Mind you, after the last couple of Nappys, all these drab colours may be a drag ;)

I think I am going to redo Owen as I am not happy with him. But thanks Colin. There will be more Nappies to come.

Here are the two busts together. I removed Owen\s head and reset it at a different angle and I resculpted his nose, which was squint and making his eyes look weird. I am still not 100% happy with him but I think I can now paint him and go on to sculpting something else rather than re-doing him.
