Hi guys my latest project, painted in acrylics. For the metallics I used Darkstar Miniatures new range of Molten metals paints specifically one of their gold sets. These are brilliant to use and ideal for the fine work required in this scale. Apologies for the poor photos, the reds never seem to come out right.

Superbly done. I also have problems with red/scarlet; I tend to use acrylic to block in the colour and then enamels/oils for shading. Your metals have also come out well.

My eyes can no longer manage 54 mm, hence my version in 150mm (http://www.victoryminiatures.co.uk/index.php?id=models&pid=64).

At just turned 56 I now have to use magnification as well as spectacles. I look at the 54mm figures I painted years ago and wonder how I managed with the naked eye.......................
