Horse artilleryman of the Guard 1807, Metal Models

Here is my latest paintwork. This really tested my eyes, even with a head loupe.
He is now finished and added to a base. The hitching post is scratch built from plastic card and a ring made from fuse wire. I thought I would keep the groundwork simple and so as not to detract from the figure. Thanks for looking in.

Like your groundwork, simple and effective and the way you paint the dirty on the boots.

Beautiful job Bob... It is a lovely uniform. You hit the dark blue spot on.
I did this fig a couple of years ago, it was a joy to paint... one of the better MM pieces IMHO
