In 1363, during a serious battle lasted three months, near Novara in the area called Ponte Canturino, The White Company of Alberto Sterz and John Hawkwood annihilating the Great Society, or the company of Germans, led by Konrad von Landau (said to precisely "The earl Lando").
Unlike the previous century, characterized by wars fought by communal militia, the '300 the birth of the lords had brought as a result of a "professionalization" of the war with the birth of the first mercenary who will have so much in the wars of our country up at the end of the next century.
The Great Society was founded in 1342 on the model of the Compagnia di San Giorgio di Lodrisio Visconti, and had participated in a series of conflicts between lords of central and northern Italy distinguished by ferocity and violent raids against the population. In 1358, just after the raids perpetrated in the area of the valley of the Lamone, the revolt of local people inflicted a severe blow to the company in terms of human lives and loss of property.
He is having had several leaders the company was eventually entrusted to earl Konrad von Landau that led up to the showdown, where he was wounded by a spear in the right armpit and, captured, died after the wound received in a few days imprisonment.

The scene reproduces the very moment when the earl, wounded, trying to get up while his companion challenge the troops of the White company.
The earl is a 'fairly simple modification to a piece M Model of German knight of the fourteenth century, while the belligerent German is a simple conversion of Jacopo Cavalli of Pegaso with a head a bit' less elegant but much more furious .
The changes to the helmet of the earl are from the tombstone of the same.
