Hello Folks,
Another project to my never ending passion for this hobby.
Im this ocassion i am conerting 2 figures from Sash &Saber in 40mm, originally autrian dragoons from the 7 year's war to French Dragoons of the Orleans Regiment and how they have looked in 1779-1786 under the French Monarchy.
The coat will need stand up collar , duck foot epaulettes and 3 or 4 buttons in line at the cuffs.
The little vignette will ha e more likely 4 mounted figures including a guidon bearer and officer.

Thanks my friend , always happy to see you on my threads.
Best regards

I have finished the crest , mane and front of the Dragoon Helmet, added theb3 large buttons below the right lapel, added some buttons on the lapels, added the 4 buttons for the cuffs ( 1779 regulation) , large button on the back of the coat, sha ed the horizontal pocket and replace it by the long vertical pockets for the orleans regiment .
I imcreased the size of the cRtridge box and added the "duck foot"shoulder straps.

It willl be a chlallenge to buy a guidon of this regiment, especily in 40mm

I have primed the figure with automotive self etching primer, and painted the base color for the coat and facings.
For the green on the coat i am using scale 75 forest green which is a midtome green and added a dab of black, that way i will build up the lights up.
As for the dark pink, i am using reaper old west rose and a dab of violet red .
