what a beautiful job... it refresh me some very good memories...

Labayen was very important for me when I discover his range. I paint many figures along the year and did also some good 18th century flags

I did the same job in the late '70 painting the Royal deux ponts flags

hope to don't have disturbed your work but for me Labayen is a jump in the past. I didn't resist to share my memories

Thank you so much for sharing your work Ivo, always a pleasure to see your work, you have no match for flags and details, so, please disturb more! Haha.
I must say i love the Labayen figures, they are classic in their own style, and the French uniform of the times of the AWI is so accurate.
As for the Royal Deux-ponts, to me it is one of the most beautiful flags of the French Army, thanks again for sharing your memories .

first one is Swiss regiment de la Maison du Roi
