Another bust from Mr Nap's clearance sale, this one from Dolman.

Cleaned up and primed

Lovely smooth moulding, and the gloved hand with bino's are in whitemetal and also nicely moulded.

Carefully blocked in the base colours, not forgetting to paint the arm with the uniform colour mix.

I think I may need to give the tunic top a greenish wash for the WW1 colour.

I started with the body first this time to make a change.

That's it for today.

More progress, repainted the tunic, this time with a bit more green to it, pleased with it now.

Some more detailing and the face painted in my usual Artist's oils, more to this once the oils have dried.

DSCN0132 (2).JPG DSCN0131 (2).JPG

That's it for today and possibly for a couple of days, visitors coming tomorrow.

Geoff

Taking shape quite nicely as always Geoff

Is it me and my imagination running away with me or does he look like Benebict Cumberbatch ?

Hi Geoff

Nice artwork mate ...looking good

Thought you might have added the arm ( less the bino's ) with painting

look forward to seeing more

Enjoy the visitors

Nap

Thanks Nap, I did think of it but the arm band would have been tricky to paint. The arm has had some doctoring to fit well.

Cheers

Look forward to seeing Kitchener come to life

Happy benchtime

Nap

Don't forget FOTM mate !!!

Thanks a lot Nap, no, no medal ribbons, he had a quiet time but rose into being in long serving Army family.

Cheers
Geoff
