Only JUST seen the msg you sent me sometime ago as I totally missed on screen that one was pending.You assume correctly sir! I served in RMP from 1980 until 1987. Started off at 160 Provo beween 81 - 83 following Chichester basic training. Following this I went to 111 Provo at Hohne in the summer of 83 and whilst there, did a 6 months SIB attachment at 4 Det SIB in Celle. Returned thereafter back to 111 and whilst there I pased my SIB selection board / Sgt board thus starting back at 4 Det in August 84.
Went to 13 Det SIB Detmold in June 85 until Aug 86 with a final posting to Tidworth Det. Called it a day in April 87.
Your name seems familiar Chris and our paths may well have crossed.
Happy days and it's amazing how many ex Corps members one comes accross in everyday life.
