Brilliant I don't think the close ups were doing it justice. Bit like the Mona Lisa when you get up close. These show the overall effect a lot better. This is motivating me to crack on with more tiger stripes.

Tony can you post some smaller photos so we can see the overall effect?

Ahh that makes sense. I must have carved it off from the SLR, which I always replace with the 1/6th ones. I also took the sweat rag off while I figured out how to make the Aussie one which as you know is very distinctive. The cut down bush hat is my homage to The Odd Angry Shot.....

Tony what happened to the original hand? I had a look in my cupboard and pulled out this on the go project. The original hand fits around an M16 hope you havent lost it....

Mitches original on the right with a converted one on the left........couldn't do that with Verlinden

Mitches also do a Nimrod 150mm version that was pretty good, and enjoyable to paint up.

Bob I have had the same problem with Verlinden 120mm heads (and hands) being too small for other manufacturers 120mm.The original kit head looks filled out and is definitely bigger.

Bob that head looks a bit small. Slightly different scale perhaps?
