Nicely done as always sir, that shield really looks good. Tough to paint a flat surface with a 3D look, but you made it happen, and in a great way.

Here's another project I'm sculpting for my friend Steve Deyo to paint, a 19th century whaler with a harpoon. Very cool subject to research and create. Really enjoying making elements that show the wind moving them, like the hair so far and the scarf he'll have on. Just a Miniature Alliance head...

Here's the bust ready for paint. Will be trimming down a bit of the front band on the forage cap and of course adding the buttons when it's all painted. Just some putty to fill the gaps at the neck and it's time to paint. More soon. Cheers, Stephen

Really liking the 120mm bust series. Are y'all looking for anyone else to do any box art? I'm working on some one-off 120mm busts myself right now and am having a blast painting them. Let me know if it's something that might be a possibility. Cheers, Stephen

I'll second what Steve said. Pinning is always the answer with metal figures, and epoxy will form a super strong bond so you aren't having to worry as much about things coming apart.
