I think the difference is in the properties of the liquids, the inks work like a coloured clear coat, often used for metals (eg metal armour), while thinned, they run along recessed details well, my experience is the less thinned, the more they tend to dry satin. I've little experience with...

Kaz, I'm posting some photos, eventhough there are good ones already posted. There was not much variation in the parka's colours, they look faded, on some replicas brown tends to be reddish, green more vivid. Looking forward to see your progress! Denes
