    A Clockwork Orange.

This is up to the standard that Bill Paquette's uncanny likeness version many years ago brought to the modeller. I never thought I'd see it handled again...but here it is, and a good one too. Nice job.

    Continentals

Great job all around... As Wendy says, the composition is just beautiful. Painting top notch.

Gordy, that's a new one on me...roaches. Damn. Who knew? I thought the Marquis deSade, while incarcerated, had the weird medium award...

    Apoxie Sculpt advises

That's true Gordy...only because when I did mention it previously, I was told "oh that old stuff"; so I figured I'm a dinosaur with the A+B Epoxy that I use. But over the years, I've grown to use A+B all the time. The strength it offers and the amazing subleties you can achieve are just right...

Captain Millers last stand...Private Ryan Scene

Bravo, Steve. Obviously the whole thing is aces, but for me, the anatomy and positioning of the arm with the pistol is brilliant. Perfect. I "says" it all, just like Hanks got out of that pose in the film.

I use something else, and have never used the aforementioned product. But really, it sounds like more problems than it's worth. Why even bother...there's stuff out there that as soon as you mix it, it's ready to go. Just my tuppence.

    Need some help/info

I've done a whole bunch of searching trying to find out what musical instrument a troubadour (or minstrel) would be accurate for 15th /16th C. ? Or maybe even earlier. Just can't seem to find anything definitive on it...would a mandolin be OK? Appreciate any help on this one...

    Help needed in scaly armor/cuirasse

Whatever shape the scale armor is of the subject you're sculpting (say U shaped with a pointy bottom, like some Byzantine armor)), start at the bottom of the armor and work laterally...U after U, next to each other, one row at a time, going towards the top. From bottom to top, always. The scale...

Creall-therm, Rene? This is something that I assume fires hard right? At what temperature? Haven't come across this one yet. Photographs like it's modelling clay....

    Looking for reference

There was a sky blue also that was popular...even white/multi-colored striped or green/ black striped. I have a reference where there is a painting of a chief in an all black one with red piping...very impressive. The Hudson Bay Company capotes can give you a range of colors that blanket coats...

    My Boy Jack

Saw "My Boy Jack" on PBS last night... an excellent, although very sad, film about Jack Kipling who died at the battle of Loos in WWI. I have given my opinion before on a film or two, and they have pretty much universally not liked too well. But this one is different, I promise..Daniel Radcliffe...

The "creepy" Will Rogers? O,r riding on Gordy's guess: Fiennes from "Schindler's List"?

    WIP Goddess from Historicart

Great job Mike. Cool Medusoid shield. Really well painted. I thought this figure was Boudicca when I first saw it. When you're in a rut, nothing like doing a pretty woman to snap you out of it. A figure.
