Great job Mike....beautiful idea on the clout. It does not hurt my eyes to gaze upon the beadwork, so I say "Hoka Hey"!

Fab sculpt of this true psychotic. Wonderful likeness, captured perfectly. Bravo.

    American WWI soldier

Not for anything, but I really would love a source where some of the Russian products are available to Europe and the US. It just seems that there are some great products around (especially the water stuffs), that look so good. At least to give a try. Anyone else feel that way?

    American WWI soldier

This is not only extremely well done, but it is a fascinating subject. Beautiful all around: what's the orange sculpture material? Can you tell us a little about the project?

Buns of steel! Nice one...Love the legs and the spread attitude of them...nice job.

    terracotta bust

Truly wonderful sculpt....a fine likeness. I'm curious...do you know the age of this individual? I'm sculpting and extremely old individual myself- the facial changes are fascinating compared to a younger subject- and I'd love to know. Whether an individual wears false teeth is a huge factor...

WIP Critique Roman soldier - Dura Europos - White Models - 90mm

This figure is the absolute bomb...a truly great sculpt. Almost tempted to buy it and have a go after years of not painting a casting....man, this is simply great. Requires a painter's best, I would think. Fabulouso!

    The Northern Raider

Truly brilliant subdued tones in the plaid....just so well done. Is that an oxymoron? Maybe brilliantly rendered subdued....is better. A+ for painting and A+ on the sculpt. Doesn't get better than this.

    Oriental Sensibilities - two examples

The old man is a wonderful look at a sculptor's talents, although I do agree that it could be overdone a bit. I really like the rib cage at the solar plexus area, something you really have to be thin to see. A great face, too. I like the other one sculpturally, but don't get what's going on, I...

    Croatian Soldier 915 A.D.

Looks really good...interesting take on the age and condition at that time in history. I guess if you lived into your sixties, you had a face that looked like a road map. Positively fascinating aspect.

Creature from Black Lagoon: 1/12th Scale

Man, the bomb!! Well done Jayhawker..well done. I can hear that crazy music in my head when I look at this...

    Ugly Bust

Good start for a variety of directions to go on this face....I would say that the eyes are quite big for the face....I think if you reduce the size of both of them you will see a more natural appearance in scale on the elements of the head. Just my tuppence. A Hosni Mubarak mummy?

    Soviet guerilla. Belorussia 1944

Oleg, just keep doing what you're doing. You'll learn on every single figure. I've noticed the the "Junior" area of competitions is less and less supported , as time goes on. I can only think this reflects a waning interest in the art form amongst younger artists...it used to be that Junior...
