    Roman Centurion 90mm

Marc, I have pondered for a large amount of hours , if I should write anything , or just ..let it go. But I cant let it go. So here it is: I am a person that can definitely handle a good amount of criticism, artisitic critique and constructive advice. But under only ONE condition, albeit of...

    Roman Centurion 90mm

Hi Steve, I honestly dont know why it is, in fact, glossy (it looks worse on the foto than in real life, but still..) , used only acrylics for it ..it is really puzzling, since (I think) I did everything correctly , no experiments..maybe partly fault lies with lighting, not sure (?) And thank...

    WIP Conan The Fearless 160mm

Hi Paul! Its funny that you mention rocky base, since thats exactly what I wanted to do initially, i had some crushed concrete and rocks prepared to do a cave , but in the end I liked this tomb ashtray so much , i decided it gives a good "Conan vibe" but I know what you mean -inital impulse with...

    WIP Conan The Fearless 160mm

Dear Friends, I have always been fascinated by Conan and his timeless popularity -He is one of the few fantasy heroes that appeal to many even after all these years.. The warrior, traveler, and yet not just barbarian brute , but surprisingly intelligent Cimmerian proved to be a really good...

    Billman.Battle of Flodden 1513

I like how you did the armor ,Ralph, very muted, toned-down and I couldnt help thinking that maybe it has a residue of smoke on it, maybe from burning and looting some poor, miserable little village few hours ago?:( Sorry, its my sick imagination again:D Anyways, very interesting piece! Cheers,Piotr

    Roman Centurion

Hi Eraldo, If you ever wanna try also different technique for armor, this is what I do (Im really satisfied with results, but I admit there are sooo many approaches to painting realistic armor , it makes your head hurt;))..First , I paint it in black Vallejo, then cover it with Vallejo Silver...

You got me curious about Fireforge ,Jenghiz ;) (embarassed to admit Ive never heard of them) and I checked them out on google ..but IMHO Zvezda Mongols are still better , but I realize this is Fireforge beta version ,not a final one. Always glad to see more Mongols on the market!(y)...

    WIP Heavy Mongol Archer 1/72

Dear Friends, Just started on this tiny project(or more of an experiment to see if its worth the time to maybe start a bigger battle diorama) ,after dusting off my ooold Zvezda sets - their Mongols are the best 1/72 set I ever encountered. I have ran out of primer during spraying, hence not...
