Constantly! For me, it's unusual that a piece doesn't get stripped at least once. Usually it take me a couple of tries beforwe I get the face looking right.

I use Easy Off oven cleaner to strip my figures. Works like a champ. Spray and let soak. If I'm in a hurry, an hour usually does the trick. With maybe a second application if needed. If not, then overnight or even 24 hours. Has never hurt any resin or white metal figure I've jued it to strip...

I really like this piece. Tells a story wonderfully. And as I mentioned to you elsewhere, I think that for those who have a problem with busts that have full arms, this will drive them absolutely nuts! ;) Congratulations on another great work.

If it's available, buy another copy and when it's done, display them side by side. That'll really show you your progression as a painter.

Love it! What came to mind for me was the old Bugs Bunny cartoon where he meets up with the Hatfields and McCoys. Probably not what you want to hear and I mean no disrespect to your figures. It's just what popped into my head. :LOL:

Not to hijack this thread but, are Almond figures a "find"? I picked up their 90mm "Buffalo Bill" several years ago at a flea market. Since I'd never heard of them before, I guess they came and went before I got in figure painting. Craig
