Unfortunately it's big business in China. I understand hundreds of thousands of people are involved in copying other peoples work. They don't see anything wrong with it.

If you want to use Tamiya paints, it's best to use Tamiya X-20a Thinner when airbrushing. Although technically Tamiya are called acrylics, they are solvent based and require a thinner. I mix to about 1:1 ratio. Spread some paint to the side of the container (clear if possible). If you can barely...

Thanks Andrew! Not too sure about the sponge effect as this is 75 mm and I don't want too much texture. Interesting approach with painting blue before black. I'll keep in mind the sepia for shadows! Thanks,(y) Gary D
