What an unusual and eclectic subject. Perhaps in Europe where the actor and film is a classic it may be a decent sell. Here in the U.S. even the Pryor version was a flop. Almost prefer seeing a 3rd not-quite-up-to-snuff Murat in white portrait.

Courageous. Reid is a favorite of mine but Ive not picked that bust up because it seemed daunting ( then add in my laziness ). Well done and well researched.

Fascinating subject matter and very well designed bust. The only thing I take issue with is the 'softness' in the detail of the tiara...even in it's general outline it appears 'off'. Seeing how it is a critical part of the overall bust I expected considerable sharpness in the detail and well...

Extremely well done. The static pose gives emphasis to the unique style that set the Poles apart. A nice compliment to go with Quang's Cossack! Beautiful.

Existing records state she had red hair. Her 'pirate' days were over by her early 20s. Her father's wealth apparently bought her freedom and she died of old age and respectability in South Carolina.

Michael is correct. This is a modified SF3D kit. Paul just sent me an email noting this. He is very rarely online and didn't note that Roc called it a scratchbuilt until recently. He thanks Michael for the correction.
