What a pain painting the fine wavy (aka swirly) lace on his plastron and collar. It is very unforgiving and was frustrating the hell out of me trying to get the same thickness of line everywhere. The raised cast last is uneven…some is barely visible while other parts are very crisp. No criticism...

Thanks. The plastron still requires some blending. It’s mostly Scale Color tube magenta + purple + red + flesh in various proportions. Also using Liquitex inks (magenta + payne’s grey).

Thanks Nap. It’s always a balancing act between posting periodic WIP and frequent SBS pics. I’m somewhere in between. I do worry that I will spam the thread with too many pics but I’m taking them constantly anyway as quality control so I might as well share some. I enjoy looking back on them...
