Nice figure. For some reason snow scenes seem to set off the colours well. May have to add this to the list.

This is the 'Rounhead' figure from the Airfix set. Oils over acrylics. I'm also experimenting with a 'home studio' kit that I bought on Ebay - softbox & two daylight balanced spots.

Erwin, flesh tones are the hardest part of any figure, and I think all of us had to take time and patience to learn to paint them. Excellent painting, when I first glanced at the page I thought it was a photo of a re-enactor!

Neat sculpting on these, and good aggressive stances on the Irish warrior and the Landsknecht.

Thanks guys, I still have two mounted figures to do from the set. Conversions are so easy in plastic that I haven't decided what to make them as yet! One thing - at about £4 a figure it doesn't matter so much if they go wrong. These Airfix (and Historex) pieces were my introduction to figures...
