I also had a question on flesh tones. I see a few YT videos where folks create their own flesh tones rather than using the ones provided by the manufactures. I'm just curios as to why?

That AK interactive set looks pretty comprehensive. I've got a few of those eighteen color sets they are quite nicely done.

Thanks Brad, like my models I'm mostly into WWII and stuff of that time period or later. I've gotten a few more figures ordered this week. But this AK FAQ book has really helped me better understand the whole world of figure painting.

Those of you who have done this for a while with all the new paints out there, what are your preferences and why? Is it harder to learn with soley acrylics or acrylics then to oils? What's everyone's preference? Like I said I my other post. Looking to get started. Jim
