I thought you would be used to my modesl Tony :-D hahaha anyways. as a painter of models that go up to 1/4 scale, I agree with tony in the area of it it leaves the miniature category when you reach 1/1 scale (I would also hesitate to include 1/2 scale due to the sheer size of the model)...

I used to say I paint models, but after one too many fools leapt to the conclusion I painted real girls, I turned to say I paint miniatures.

seil used to have brass etch in their kits actually. My german tank commander had his radio earphones made from it. Quite fun stuff, but you need to be gentle with it. I think the biggest con is probably the price. brass etch in my experience is expensive. and as pointed out by yourself -...

Tony, First a big thanks for not going down the well trodden road of the nazi rant. It is in my thoughts that the germans sell well is because sculptors always aquire the best period photos of the germans (of which there are millions easily bought over the net) and sculpt from there...
