Todd Here is a close up of the left arm, airbrushed base coat, then brush work to define the folds and add some color- I like to add some red brown and brown sand to the basic mix. hard to see in the picture. The face was painted with a grey primer undercoat.

I have begun the next one on my to do list... The wonderful Nuts Planet 101 Airborne bust (half figgie). Done the cleanup and started the painting. This is just the start with some color applied via the trusty Iwata (Vallejo and Scale 75) and a bit of brushwork... stand by for the jump light...

Very nice work. I saw this in Dallas and almost picked it up. Your work has convinced me to put it on my list.....

So here is the final figure of Bonehead Models SS Squad Leader. Hard to compete with Kaz' fantastic boxart version. This will be the subject of an article in Model Military International in the future..... Thanks for looking, this is a great kit! Matt

Here is the base so far... Its a round, made by John Jeffries. I used Sculptamold (celluclay) mixed with pigment and glue then planted cheap paint brush bristles for the grass.

The base is a mix of Neutral Grey and Camo Pale Violet Brown. The spots are - black brown, Orange Brown and Earth. I am finding Scale 75 Mars Orange and Orange Leather work better- they flow nicer and are dead mat. Notice on the shot of the back you see a shiny spot - that's Vallejo.

Here is my work so far on Mike Good's Bonehead Models 200mm Squad Leader. I am working away on this- a lot of camo to paint! Plane tree autumn side. Looks kinda garish so far, but it will look good in the end.... (I hope).

Mark, they are both Jo Sonja and Vallejo, and a bit of one of the Scale 75 red colors. I use whatever works. I like blending Jo Sonja with Vallejo though. Thanks everyone for the compliments. Matt
