    Sculpting chain mail

    another way.... hi adrian, another trick for chain mail is to take a needle, snip off the eye a bit to leave a small fork shape. you can now make accurate 'c' shapes in the putty and use the point to do any defining of the pattern. all the best...

    Igor, Scibor, you CAN get sharp edges in Green stuff. there are 2 methods. the first is to crave with a sharp blade and the second is to grind it with a Silicone disk used to polish glass. Jes Goodwin uses Green stuff on his 3 up terminators and 40k stuff...
