The base structure is made with wire, aluminium foil and milliput. The main green area is a polimeric clay(cheap stuff 0.5Kg for 7$) that is pretty good. The white head is made with Fimo soft.

I really like the polimeric clay and i think this is my favorite medium as I can work with it as much as I want.

He will wield a heavy battle axe in the left hand and a shield in the right.

Good start

Hey there bud
This will be an interesting project! Looks good especially the fist. The facial expression is good too! I think I know what kind of Sculpt you want to achieve around the mouth area. I know you arent finished but try a needle point sculpting tool and start with the needle point downwards from from the upper lip to inside the mouth to give it that depth and sharp crease forming the overlayment of the teeth. Even behind the knees and most creases will give that depth and natural look. Looks cool though. Let me know what you have in mind with this sculpt!
Take care!

Thanks Derek!
I'm aiming for a warhammer look like this, with full armor. Not exactly picture like, but rather my version of an Orc creature, with stronger legs to support the big upper body weight and armor.

The needle tool is extremely usefull and I used it a lot.Good tip!
Here is a lot of progress to the head. The eyeballs and teeth are made with milliput.I am pretty satisfied with his facial expression so far...really angry fellow.:)

Nice!

Well I am satified myself, now you can really see the detail. I like how you use the different clays/epoxy. Milliput is great and almost indestructable and a perfect medium for teeth. I am working on a new project well a couple. My last figure you responded to I messed up. It was that WWII para. The hips were out of place and sat too low. Oh well. Well anyways, I am excited to see the outcome of this orc!

Sorry to hear that Derek, but I'm sure your next figure will be better.
Thanks Timothy!
he looks mean as hell
He is!
Just take a look at what happened meanwhile.:D

Yikes now thats sweet

Let me ask you this>> Do you sculpt your own heads? You have awesome talent to create almost anything. The face on the swinging torso looks a bit content!

Just thought I would throw that in....

I am telling ya that is a great little display here but, a facial expression like " WOW I was just cut in half" would finish off this piece.

Anyways the detail is awesome!

Keep posting

Thanks ookami!
hope to see the advancement on the orc itself soon
Here it is.
hope to get rid of the Hulk appearance that is haunting me. :)
2 skulls...6-7 more to do.

Awesome

This is great, I am glad to see you are still posting. Very impressive. You have the whole leatherface thing going on with the clothing, looks great. What medium are you using for the skull?

Thanks Derek!
I use fimo.

This is where I got the idea with the large chainmail pattern(and others :) )..It looks a bit too large, so I'll place this piece at the back and make smaller pattern from now.
I used 1mm wire.I think I'll have to change this to a thinner one too.
I changed the corpse position to the above and removed the dead man's axe.Something like this.
Do you guys think it would be nice to have fur on the inside of the boots?

Wow thats one way of replicating Chain mail mate , very nice work. Ork project is really moving along now and getting better and better. I can really get a sense of scale with that exacto handle for the axe.
