Thanks Mike Basic flesh is Burnt Sienna and Naples Yellow Hue. I added a bit of Vallejo Cork Brown. Then I use Brown Madder, Napthol Crimson, Black for shadows and color in the cheeks. More Naples Yellow for highlights. I may of used some Violet here and there too.

Well, they are less opaque then Vallejos. But, they mix easier and are flatter. I tend to use a lot of "glazes" of the colors, so I build layers gradually. I have found if you mix them with Vallejos, you kind of thae coverage plus nice blending. Matt

Yes. it is. It's not the quality of Young Miniatures or Life Miniatures, etc. I had to repair several areas and it looks like some of the resin was not mixed well. The sculptor could of spent some time refining the piece before casting. But, the concept is good. I probably would not of purchased...

Thanks Colin. Actually I am thinking about it. I looked at pictures of people in cold climates and their breath freezes, thus the ice /snow on the beard. Maybe a light dusting over the top of the head and shoulders.....
