For Sale Gocekion Alien bust - new collectible kit by Mikkel Frandsen Design

Very nice detail on his skin. It looks very insectile and menacing. I can imagine some really cool colourings on this one. Love his little mandibles and antanae. Best of luck Ben

    Completed Critique Mongol Bust

Cheers Francesco and Marc, thanks for the comments Hi Smudger, glad you like him. I tried to get a faded look to the red and add a weave to the fabric, still hard to see in the close up, but it was worth a try Ben

    Completed Critique Mongol Bust

Thanks Stephan, Nick, Steve, Billy, Andrew, Mark and Tony Glad you like him. I really tried to push a few areas in my painting with this one. He started as a quick project, but ended up taking a lot longer than I would have thought. Thanks Mike, but it wasnt me who you met at MFCA, I've never...

Completed German 6th Army, Stalingrad 1942/ Life Miniatures

Very nice, as said before, the eyes are fantastic, as is his uniform. The wrinkles under his eyes also show the weariness of him. If I can make a suggestion, put a deeper shadow or two in his hair and that will give it a little more depth. Ben

    Completed Critique Mongol Bust

Its been awhile since I posted anything, but have finally got around to finishing this fine bust from Pegaso. I did a few little changes such as extend his goatee and the horse hair plume so that they looked as though thy were blowing in the wind, and heat treated the tassles from his helmet to...

    WIP Ripley - Lucky Star

Lookin' great, love the watch. The skin tones look really good too, just enough shading to show the stress she's been under but not looking manly. If I can add a comment, darken her eye brows just a tad more to match the reference pic you attached earlier Ben

I have never heard of him or the comic, but the bust looks great. Love the little folds in the shirt. From what I can see, the sword looks good too Ben

    WIP Ripley - Lucky Star

WOW!!!!! You are lucky to have one of these rare kits, I wish that I had bought one years ago when I had the chance and let it slip by. I can see that there is a fair bit of bubbling on the inside of the resin, but not much on the surface, hopefully thats a blessing. Cant wait to see how you...

Great work and welcome to Planetfigure. Love what you have done and the likeness to Tom is very good. If I can add a comment, put a dark wash over the metals and braiding, and that will give it some more depth. Thanks for showing your work Ben
