Talos

This is the old Geometric Vinyl Talos figure, which I still think is one of the best representations. I built this a couple of years ago to enter into a local model show and as a tribute to Ray Harryhausen who sadly passed away that year. I originally planned to closely follow the battle scene in the Jason movie but then felt it would look cooler with some more heavily armed troops trying to take him on, the figures are 1/72nd scale. The only modifications I made to Talos were to switch his ankle plug over to his left leg (after studying various movie stills) and also to include an orange LED to light his eyes so you get a glimpse of the magma inside that powers him. Hope you like it!

Thanks Ben, I've spent the last fifteen years whilst I was still working picking up all the stuff I thought was cool and rare. I retired at the end of last year so I now have a large stash to hopefully build and share over the coming years! John
