Hi everyone, Here is my recent finished figure. I put last brushstrokes on it on Friday and on Saturday I took to Tulsa Show, which by the way was a great exhibition. It was a pleasure to see all those fabulous models and meet fellows modelers. I did not get a chance to publish pictures...

Very well done Kaz. It is very dramatic. I do not know if you were after that, but it looks to me like he is painted with a late evening light effect - which I like a lot.

There is many techniques beside hairspray to achieve paint chips. You can paint them with a sponge or small brush, I am pretty sure you figure those out on your own :) Next worth to mention is a salt technique. Paint the base coat, let it dry and softly moist the surface, than apply salt grains...

It seems to be just a simple math. Production costs should be lower for 300 copies than for 600. Making it limited run you can increase the price and sell 300 figures in total for more money than 600 with regular price. It is just a business. I don't believe that this days any company casts...

Very realistic painting. It must be one of my favorite busts in a long time. Gerard, I hope you would not mind if I still your idea for conversion of it :) It is way better than original version.
