    US Navy Seal Bust

First post in a long time US Navy Seal Bust by Airborne Miniatures. Painted with Vallejo and Tamiya acrylics and a wee bit of ink. Badges were down using decals I printed, call sign badges are made up based on the real thing. Looking the model itself, I painted the base colour for the MARPAT was...

    Bane 1/9th Scale Vinyl Figure

I was very subtle with the shading on the flesh and it didn't show up well in the light. I was wondering whether I should have been bolder. It was strange painting in this scale. I actually found it much harder. As for settling in, yeah just a bout after a year! It took me ages to find a good...

    Crusader Bust

Thanks for the comment, I found it great fun to paint and put together. First Bust I've done, so I ordered some more!

    MARSOC Marine

This was the second figure I tackled after a break in the hobby of many years. I placed him on an old Verlinden building that I had.

    Crusader Bust

This was my first attempt at a bust. Its the 1/10th scale 'After the battle' by Andrea. Really enjoyed painting it.

    Bane 1/9th Scale Vinyl Figure

Not posted or logged on in ages, work and relocating to the other side of the world tends to get in the way of things! I started back to the hobby a couple of years ago, and have managed to paint a couple of figures. I bought this bane figure when Model Zone was closing down in Glasgow and had...

    Para Falklands 1982

Yeah, the worrying thing is, in my discharge medical they said I still had 20/20!

    Very nice indeed!

200mm bust British soldier Operation Herrick

If I was to do this bust in the future, I'd have to do it with the helmet off, as the chin strap undone would just wind me up!

    Para Falklands 1982

Thanks guys for the feedback so far, I was very heavy handed when it came to the 'cam cream' and I was pretty disappointed with it. One of the things I did find out now that I started painting again, was the fact f that I needed glasses! Of course the Falkland's war was in 1982, I typo...

200mm bust British soldier Operation Herrick

The detail is good, with the new lightweight plastic magazines (with clear viewing pane) on the rifle. Looks like an ISAF roundel on the front of the Osprey Body Armour too. A self purchased hard plastic holster for the Sig Sauer 226 pistol. very nice!

    Para Falklands 1982

120mm British Para, Falklands War 1989. First time I have picked up a brush in well over 15 years, got some useful tips and hints off the threads on here (so thank you!). Got along way to go before I'm back in the swing of it!
