I was very subtle with the shading on the flesh and it didn't show up well in the light. I was wondering whether I should have been bolder. It was strange painting in this scale. I actually found it much harder. As for settling in, yeah just a bout after a year! It took me ages to find a good...

This was the second figure I tackled after a break in the hobby of many years. I placed him on an old Verlinden building that I had.

The detail is good, with the new lightweight plastic magazines (with clear viewing pane) on the rifle. Looks like an ISAF roundel on the front of the Osprey Body Armour too. A self purchased hard plastic holster for the Sig Sauer 226 pistol. very nice!

120mm British Para, Falklands War 1989. First time I have picked up a brush in well over 15 years, got some useful tips and hints off the threads on here (so thank you!). Got along way to go before I'm back in the swing of it!
