depicting a British soldier on operational tour in Afghanistan
during Operation Herrick. This resin kit also contains an alternate head.

The detail is good, with the new lightweight plastic magazines (with clear viewing pane) on the rifle. Looks like an ISAF roundel on the front of the Osprey Body Armour too. A self purchased hard plastic holster for the Sig Sauer 226 pistol. very nice!
 
If I was to do this bust in the future, I'd have to do it with the helmet off, as the chin strap undone would just wind me up!
 
I have to say that I completely understand about such details as chin straps being undone - however this is where artistic licensing comes in... such a detail adds interest and makes the bust appear less formal.

Dare I say it if it is required to have the chin strap done up surely a spot of milliput and a slight amount of surgery and the detail is rectified. A basic spot of conversion and Robert is your mothers brother!
