    Transfers/ where?

Yeah thanks, I was interested in going to a class there at the shop but then they discountinued them. I'll have to stop at the shop one of these days. Yes I know the PE is expensive, I have used it alot on my armor, I think it would work great on shields and such. Thanks Tony

    Transfers/ where?

Thanks guys, I never even thought they made PE for this stuff, great, even used as templates I would think they would work great. Does Sentinel carry most everything "figure" ? I am slightly familiar with the company but never really checked into them. Thanks again, Tony

    Oils Drying time

Hi Pat, yes I agree. So if I use oils there would be no need for a flat coat? That would be great then I can do the whole job with a brush except for the prime. As I said I am using Humbol's now, can I use Humbrol and oils on the same piece? When I am finished with the Knight I am doing now...

    Oils Drying time

Thanks guys, As I said I am an oil painter, I can see why you would let the oil seep out before painting with it. As for Liquin, I have to give it a try, I think it would work good. I agree with Einion though, if you do not want to use solvents to clean brushes, any oil, linseed I use linseed...

    Does size matter??

Thanks Keith and Einion, Keith, I cannot handle acrylics as the drying time is much to fast for me, enamels are better so I am going to try oils even longer drying time. Hi guys, I am thinking about trying oils on my next fig. I am an oil painter, landscapes, at least I try so I have all the paints and stuff. The question is drying time? I know oils can take forever to dry, how do you deal with this? Also are any mediums used when using oils? I have heard of...

I think I will stick with the 54mm's Yes Kieth I am 44 too, and my arms are not long enough anymore either. With glasses I'm still OK though. I checked out your bench photo's wow impressive stuff. Are you using oils?? I see what you guys mean about the larger sizes having more to paint and I...

    Does size matter??

I have only done 1/35th and 54 mm figs so far. Is it easier to paint say a 90mm than a 54 mm?? I like the 54 as they are small and don't take up any room, I would not be against going bigger if it would be a little easier. Any comments would be welcome. Tony
