Leonardo Da Vinci, Ludovico Sforza and the Duke’s squire, Milano 1490

Sforza: will it be available in 75mm? The Guard: can you do it in resin? Da Vinci: buy it now, it is a limited edition

Berserker 1066 Stamford Bridge (Stamford Brycg) RPmodels 75mm

Excellent. It is good to see a plain shield as most medieval shields were. Viking figures too often receive shields with elaborate but irrelevant painting.

Leonardo Da Vinci, Ludovico Sforza and the Duke’s squire, Milano 1490

yes, EMI's old code MLC-05. Great sculpt by Piersergio Allevi, who is still producing excellent figures (check his FB page). I am quite certain that OlimpYa Models bought EMI moulds.

    Pompeii Garden - Finished

It is absolutely stunning, meticulously executed without losing focus on the main idea. Together with the title, the entire composition evokes the memory of the eruption’s victims so poignantly.

Wonderful release in aid of Children’s Cancer Charity

you are probably correct about the water reflection.

Wonderful release in aid of Children’s Cancer Charity

Great cause, and the painting of leaf shadows on the body and the boat is astonishing

    The Vikings Arrive

I was also thinking about the number of figures and the size of the boat, but one may argue that the four Vikings standing outside the boat came in another boat ;)

Shelf Queens Finished! - 1/16 Tiger & Riders

What a great combination of light and shadow! It looks like a Renaissance painting! Fortunately, no Renaissance master lived long enough to see German Nazis and their tanks.

    The Vikings Arrive

Judging by the height of figures, the boat depicted in the diorama is about 6 m long. This is a small boat by Viking standards. Such boats were suitable primarily for navigating lakes, rivers and portaging. Longer boats (10 to 14 m) could be used to cross the Baltic, subject to favourable...

Scale Collectables - 1/8th Scale "Deadwood", Undead Cowboy

It is always nice to see a lively and smiley character, even if he is a kind of dead.

    The Vikings Arrive

The one putting his helmet on is a stunning figure. The vambraces are a bummer, and the disembarked figures seem to have very small hands, at least in the picture. I would also like to see more interaction with the boat, but overall a nice diorama.

    Virginia Militiaman - Esli Hunt

Superb, it looks like painting. I really like your style which brings out the main features of the figure without pretending to be 'like alive'

New from Elan13 Miniatures: 'Forwards the 30th! Salamanca 1812

Vignettes often look like different figures put on one base, but these figures perfectly work together, excellent composition.

    Sculpting hair in 1/35

I find it strange when people receive a very detailed answer to their question and even do not bother to thank.

    Vexillarius Marcomannic Wars

I desperately need self-painting figures! Where can I find them??? :) Seriously speaking, great job

New Figure Avar Heavy Horseman - 626 AD

Excellent figure, and the small steppe horse looks very authentic. Great release.

75mm Saving the innocent Crimea 1854 by TFB Miniatures

I was not aware of that painting by Emile Vernet-Lecomte. In the painting, the building is actually a church, which makes the subject even more awkward. It is like a Viking saving a child from Lindisfarne.

75mm Saving the innocent Crimea 1854 by TFB Miniatures

Nice as far as it goes, but we need a bit of historical context here - our brave Zouave invaded the Crimea, destroyed the house, judging by the icon, a Russian house, desecrated the icon, apparently killed the Russian whose helmet we can see but mercifully saved the girl from the house. Russians...

Not my period, but the French Lancer looks incredible.
