As usual up to you excellent standards but if I was to make a critical comment it would be that I would have expected his skin colour to be even darker due to the sun,climate etc especially as the turban gives much less protection than the brim of a hat.Only an opinion.

Richard at Oakwood is a true craftsman producing bases of real quality,prepared to make to your own specific design as well as the standard bases.Can't recommend Oakwood too highly !

In my humble opinion I have never seen the purpose.Like you I use oils over an acrylic base and the background central heating dries oils to a matt finish if not put on too thickly.
