Ethics of buying pirated out of print figures

Its not often I reply to threads on forums but this one I am. I appreciate that manufactures have to protect there interests and copyrights against copies and the such, but it has to be a choice on behalf of the buyer whether they choose to buy copies (especially obvious Chinese ones) or not...

    Dads Army

I'm the wrong side of 40 and watching them now still makes me laugh. I think its the sort of humour that any age will like because my 10 yr old finds it funny too........dom Cold steel.....they don't like it up em!!

Completed After The Battle (andrea Bust)

Excellent job on an excellent bust. Isn't the way the shading looks on the check due to the fact that he has a cut there hence the darker shade to show blood/flesh????? Or did I paint mine wrong?

H&v Miniatures: Jacobite Highlander, Culloden Moor, 1746

I think they both look pretty good but the painting lets them down a bit. Can't wait to see the other releases that are coming up......Dom

    News Oniria Miniatures

They look very good and I think they could be mistaken for 54mm as the detail looks realistic. Nice group but I don't think my eyes would cope.....Dom

    Completed ATTILA Post Militarie 75mm....Unforgetable

Hi Marc Some of old Poste Militaire 70mm stuff seems to be available through Elite Miniatures website but not all by a long way. They are really nice little kits and do come up on ebay sometimes. The one I would like is the Von Ratsky Hussar but only ever seen one once in the last ten years...

El Greco Miniatures - New Release

Hi Matt. Love the knight and I think he would look good painted with no hair added, as he reminds me of a good old screen baddie. Is the crossbow done to go with the bust, if not which scale would it fit?........yours dominic

Open Book Almond Models French Marine 1751

I also have a few in the collection; British Light Dragoon, Polish Winged hussar, Cuirassier, both 95th Rifles and an undercoated Hussar. Very good castings considering the age of the models. I would like the French Infantry Sargaent sometime aswell........dominic
