    Battle of Bailen Diorama

This is one of the best dioramas in this scale (or in any scale) that I have ever seen. Since the figurines have been cast - are copies of them commercially available, and if so where can we order them?

    "Memories of Flight School"

I am looking very much forward to seeing this long term project finished. Wished I could see it live.

    a durer-mounted landsknecht

Renarts, you hit the nail. Dürer's drawing is dated 1493, so it is typical of an armoured rider of the late 15th century. It is said to depict an MAA (maybe even a poor nobleman, a 'free lancer' in the original meaning) as hired by the rich Nuremberg tradesmen to convoy their goods across the...

    a durer-mounted landsknecht

I am pretty sure you are talking about this one. It's not a landsknecht in the strict sense but an armed convoy rider.

    "Memories of Flight School"

John, it's all coming together very nicely. Your workshop is nearly too clean to be real. Maybe a bit more oilstains and stuff?

    Gribeauval Canon

How many figures are there in the box. €70 for plastic figures is alot of money. Marc There should be all you can see on the box: a mounted officer, a drummer, a gun team of five, and a horse team with rider and limber (though four to six horses with two or three riders would me more...

    Apache Warriors

We people are not all 1.80 m...., so the Apaches are also not the same hight. Marc Maybe the Winchesters vary too? Pls stop arguing '54 mm' and start thinking scale.

    Michael Miniatures - Sneak Peak

Excellent sculpt and unusual subject matter. You might find another likeness of Ernst August in front of Hannover's main railroad station, click here: http://bp3.blogger.com/_hnB1kA-2AuA/SAZPGmVhFrI/AAAAAAAAD2Y/9IeyvJtj8Xk/s1600-h/DSC00870.JPG

    Huron warrior

Fantastic sculpt of an unusual subject. I might be tempted to do a Native American for a change since this one falls into my favorite 17th century.

    Jesilious

Wspaniała figurka jak na 28 mm. Bardzo mi się podoba!

    Ulano Trompeter 1870-71

The paintjob is nice. But sorry to say, the figurine is crap IMO - completely out of proportion. Awkward hip joint, legs too short in comparison to upper body, the bugle is much too large. Maybe it's the camera angle, but I doubt that.

The Landsknecht. XVIth c. 54 mm.

Molodec. Lovely sculpt, the miniature looks its part. I love the pose and the stout figure of the man. You could add another large feather to the barret to make it look even more flamboyant. I understand the 'katzbalger' sword is unfinished yet. The cross guard has still to be brought into its...

    "Memories of Flight School"

Looking good so far. Since you incorporate a horse in your diorama you could add some animal droppings...

    Green Stuff question

Alter?

    "Memories of Flight School"

Hi John, I wouldn't make him stand in front of the aircraft, he would be hiding too much of that intricate wiring. Also, standing by the Model T would be a more natural position for a driver, wouldn't it? Just my two cents. I love watching it all come together now. Good luck for the...

    "Svin!" Finished diorama

Who do you mean by 'svin'?? ;-) I am not into WWII, but here I cannot say enough about the beauty of the scenery and the quality of your paintjob. Really excellent, and also very inventive and an unusual subject matter.

"The Revolution has began" - 54mm Vigniette

If only there were no Imperial (!!) eagle on that boy's shako, as the shako itself is a much later model. Otherwise nice vignette.

    Capitan Alatriste

One of the best versions of this figurine I have seen so far. Beautiful rendition of leather and dust. Perfect handling of acrylics (?). I like those sombre colours.

    British infantry sergeant 1759 (Minden)

This is an amazing sculpt. Detailing and proportions are just perfect without any of the chunkiness so often seen in the smaller scales. I love 40 mm scale (is ist 'true' 40 mm or 40 mm to the eyes?). Will the figure be cast? Hopefulle you are sculpting an entire series.
