    Completed Vampire’s Kiss

I'm guessing about 1/10? They are temporarily mounted on a champagne cork if that gives a sense of scale. Each bust is about three inches tall. I'm getting back to actual miniatures after all the big 1/4 busts I've been doing. Working my way back down in scale :)

    Completed Vampire’s Kiss

Working on this cool composition from Ignis Art, “Vampire’s Kiss.” The parts were beautifully engineered to go together flawlessly. Colors are roughed out, but they will end up much more desaturated by the time I get done, and likely with some moonlight osl. Just working on refining the...

    Igor & Frau Blucher

Two more from the talented hands of sculptor Jeff Yagher, with casting by Pestilence Labs. Big 1/4 scale busts. Finished in Scalecolor tube acrylics and their 'Drop and Paint' airbrush line. Great fun to paint!

Wanting to Buy Army of the Damned- Mindwork Studios

Hi all- This is an impossible set for me to find, so of course I want one. This vignette in a box was only available through a Kickstarter by Mindwork that I missed. If anyone has one available and will part with it, please let me know. Happy painting! Matt

    1/12 Queen Zenobia Bust

This is a beautiful piece! She looks fairly peaceful here, but the action of the diorama version will be top notch!

    US Navy Sailor

Just finished a base for this 1940s era sailor. I had some scrap resin from an old test pour that harndened in the bottom of a cup. Turned over, it makes a good harbor. The bust is about 1/8 scale and comes from Mitches Military Models. Painted in Scalecolor Acrylics.

    King Kong!

Lol. My wife is a gem, and would be great about it, but I'm not going to go there. He'll live in my cave in the attic. :)

    King Kong!

Carl Denham: "No, it wasn't the airplanes... It was beauty that killed the beast." A huge 22" 3D printed sculpture by Tony Cipriano, painted in acrylics from Scalecolor and Mission Models, along with a touch of printer's inks and pearlescent craft paint, airbrush and brush. The film is one...

    Quicksand!

A scene from the finale of 1944s House of Frankenstein. The Monster drags the wounded Dr. Neiman into a darkened swamp as enraged villagers (what other kind are there?) burn the brush and trees behind them... Neiman warns him of the danger, gasping, "No, not that way! Quicksand! Quicksand!"...
